Well, I did it. Just 2 days ago I quit my day job to be a full-time affiliate marketer. I still have a little more than a week at work. It's funny how when they were paying me I could hardly get out of bed in the morning. But now, with even knowing I've almost escaped corporate life, I can't stay asleep. I'm already working on my best ideas.

I walk through the halls of work with a certain lightness. Immune from the backbiting and politics I can see who my true friends are. I'm going to miss the real friends I made at work. However, with my flexible schedule I can still have lunch with them.

The first thing on my list is to buy a good laptop. A Mac. Next up, I need a bigger desk, sign up for a virtual fax machine and buy a scanner.

This morning my alarm went off (I was already up and in the shower). Then my son's alarm went off (he's with his dad). It was an alarm chorus. I thought to myself, I'm so glad that soon I can turn those alarms off for good. I will wake up when I'm ready to start my day. And we all know, the best part of the internet, is knowing your business grows while you sleep.
